Fearful Depths: A Child's Perspective of Water

Children's picture book illustration. A swimming pool seen through the eyes of a frightened child. Only water visible. No pool edge. No ladder. No stairs. No tiles. The water feels endless. Like a vast ocean. Deep blue-green water fading into darkness. The bottom cannot be seen. A feeling of fear and uncertainty. Soft watercolor and gouache. Atmospheric emotional storytelling. Leave space for story text.
